As some of you will know, I have a mild aversion to being told, when asked how things are going, "I'm really BUSY!" Inevitably my reaction will be "busy doing what?" Often the answer is "just doing stuff I have to do. There's so much to do!" We all need to realise, quickly, that if we have a lot to do - if we are really really busy - we need to make choices. We need to accept that we cant do everything. We need to think about our priorities. In other words we need to be more strategic - seemingly the antithesis to being busy! Motivation at Work - an Update

Firstly, if you want to know what a fine day in Fiordland looks like, download today's image. This is a view west from above the Hollyford Valley on the Routeburn Track. We can see the Hollyford Valley extending to Lake McKerrow and out to the West coast at Martins Bay - 50km from where this picture is taken. The mountain range to the left is the Darran Mountains - to the south of those mountains is Milford Sound. This is an unusual view because prior to our visit a few weeks ago Fiordland had only seen two fine days this summer (though I see they have enjoyed some great weather over this last week.) A great place to smell the flowers and reflect on how lucky we are to live here. Toda
